The clear winners were VR Real Gay and VRB Gay – third place was not even close. What does that tell us? Almost nothing at all.
The fact is that there are only really three Gay VR Porn studios that exist as of December 2022 (at least appearing in English language searches). These are: Studs VR, Virtual Real Gay and VRB Gay. The other ‘VR Porn sites’, VRPorn and Sex Like Real are actually tube sites where you can watch – you guessed it – content from either Real Gay and VRB Gay. For some reason, no StudsVR content is on these two mentioned VR Tube sites. Other VR Tube sites not ranked in any of the top 5’s are: yougoggle.com, www.vrporngalaxy.com and www.vrhump.com
Interestingly, PornHub, the undisputed king of porn, was the only conventional tube site to be mentioned anywhere on those lists, and was only mentioned once, while xhamster.com ranks in Google #1 position for “Gay VR Porn” was not recommended in any of the lists.
This meta-analysis reinforces the grim reality of gay VR at the end of 2022: a huge amount of potential but not a lot on offer. Don’t get me wrong, VRB and VR Real are doing great work, they are truly pioneers in the field. One thing they are getting right is helping consumers overcome technical challenges and providing an extremely high quality (from a technical perspective) for a relatively low price. Virtual Real Gay also has a significant library, however the problem isn’t the quantity, or the quality. It’s the homogeneity. (Homosexuality = good. Homogeneity = Bad). Pretty much all videos on offer muscular euro guys doing POV blowjobs, anal and the occasional threesome. No kink. No diversity. Little experimentation. Little narrative. Little grit.
